Hey.
I'm in my 2nd season with Bolton and i'm trying to sign Neymar but he keeps getting a work permit turned down. Anyone any ideas on how I can get it accepted? I've tryed appealing but no luck..

Had same propblem with Kalorov the serbian Left back united transfer listed him for 1.1 million so i tried getting him before anyone else could but tried at least 10 time but NO luck of getting work permit and i came 5th with west ham in first season aswel
 
Ah that's cool. I just managed to get Neymar after about the 15th time. Looks like you gotta keep trying or something. I just finished my first season with Bolton and managed 4th. Sold basically all my team and brought in my own hehe :) Oscar Cardozo bagged 30goals :)

Sweet i gave up in the end as i signed Hulk for £17.750,000 plus arrange friendly + 5% sell on clause :D may have a go next season if he dont sign for ajax who i think have on loan with an option to sign on permanent basis
 
If the player you are trying sign comes from a country that isn't in the European union then he needs a work permit. He is entitled for a work permit if he has been a country in the European Union for 3 or 4 years and has thus gained citizenship. If the player has not done this then he has to have played in a certain % of his countries matches over the last 12 months (I think!). You can sign him without a work permit but he won't be able to play and you will have to loan him out to do the process I explained at the start. Im not 100% all of that is correct so if someone more knowledgeable wants to correct me go for it (A)

Thanks mate, that helped alot. I knew the bit about gaining a work permit. I usually send my youngsters out on loan to help make it easier for a work permit for them and i managed to get Neymar in the end so all good. :D

Its 75% of international matches over the past 2 years. And I don't think that includes friendlies. But young players like Neymar can be made an exception, if its a great young player they can make a judgment call to let them in.
