I have to say for the most part the referees have been horrible, but this guy - who took the Netherlands v Brazil game - is one of the best refs at this tournament, no-nonsense, doesn't take **** from players, lets the game flow as much as he can.

The ref in the ghana game was good aswell. Took no **** when Cavani dived and he gave yellows when necessary, the refs havent been the problem, its been the linesmen.

I think the standard of reffing has been quite good apart from Lampard goal that was ruled out and the Argentina off-side against Mexico. Most of the refs have called it right.

The refereeing has been very good, you have to remember these guys are human and will make mistakes
