Hi, I was just wondering what is everyones worst injury crisis they've had?
Mine is on 6 at the moment and most of them are such good players!
I think I was on 7 and thats the highest I've ever got.
The most annoying injury is that I have only recently got Ribery then he got injured for 4 weeks now he's out for about 3 months they are saying.

oo thats looks really bad mate,if it helps,I once had 8 players of my Luton Town first Team injured right at the crucial part of the season,so i got so fruststrated I just deleted the whole save, regret it now though.......

I don't know how many players I had out, but I once got to a stage where I could only name two subs.

There are way to many injuries in FM it's ridiculous. I have between 3 - 6 every week.

si have said they modelled it on real life injury rates, but acutlly toned it down a little. so imagine how bad it would be if they left it perfected matched to real life. personally ive never had an injury crisis, mainly since i tweaked my training to cope with it, havent had any problems in 800 hours of game playing

and ive checked this during the season. there a site called the physioroom which covers injuries week by week, you will be amazed just how many players are injured at any one time its insane

Thats bad, lol

Im back to 8 injuries now :S

It gets annoying sometimes how the physio comes on around two, three plus times in a match.

check this out. barcelona first season. top of the league by 11 points with 8 games left. one by one my injuries came through. slowly but surely. xavi and meesi, broken legs. iniesta and ibra, crucial ligaments. and then valdes with broken finger. lost the league title. and the champs league final :'( i couldnt of been more frustrated.

Wow. That has to be the worst outcome possible? :(

Managing Brazil U23s at the Olympics and have had a horrid run of injuries. First I selected Pato who was injured for the first two matches and doubtful for the final group stage.

After I give final confirmation of my squad I check my sub goalkeeper, who has possible foot injury and then the next day is diagnosed with a broken ankle! 2 to 3 months lay off.

So for the first match I have 5/7 subs available against Ghana. Then 4/7 for the next match against France and 3/7 for the final group stage against Saudi Arabia! But now out of a squad of 18 players, 5 of them are injured for the semi final against Italy!

To be honest, I never had any injury crisis playing in fm 2010. The worst I faced was in fm 2007, where I had atleast 5 injuries at a time regardless the workload I apply in the training. But they have lowered the injury rate in fm 2010, the highest I had so far was 3-4 at a time, and only for 2 weeks or so. And my players rarely get injured during training period. Maybe you should try lowering the workload a little.

On my werder bremen save I had atleast 2 injuries every game from august to january. Normally it was 3 'green boxes' each match but only 2 of them would be an actual injury after (though sometimes all 3). But the most annoying thing was every injury always put them out for 2+ weeks instead of a few days. Struggled to even fill the sub bench with players at some points.

Diego Buonanotte injured for 2 months then ruled out for the rest of the year for medical reasons.

Just to follow on from my above post, I lost 2-1 to italy in the semi final of the olympics with only 2 subs! Both attacking midfielders. The players did their best but ran out of steam.

For the 3rd/4th playoff against Ivory Coast I had the luxury of 3 subs, 2 attacking midfielders and a half injured forward! 13 minutes in and my centre half is injured forcing me to drop a midfielder into a defensive midfield role and bring on an attacking midfielder. Eventually we grabbed a goal from a late substitute after squandering plenty of chances to grab a richly deserved bronze medal.

I really think its harder to cope with injury crisis internationally rather than domestically as there is strict squad limits (18 players for the Olympics, 23 for the World Cup) and often no hope of calling up a replacement. Domestically you can have youth players at the very least to call on or have built up a big enough squad to fill the bench at the very least. Also you can get "greyed out" players too.

Yeh, I'm constantly getting injurys. However, you do feel a sense of achievement when you see "Injury ravaged *** beat ***".

But yeah I always go through stages of injury crises, at the moment I am at 5 first team players, it's not all bad, as it means I'm giving my youth a good run out in the first team.
