Worth getting the game this late?

Hello guys,
I'm currently in a dilemma, and in need of a quick answer.
Normally I'm one who pre-order the game, and play it a lot alongside FIFA. But this year, with how many new things there were in FIFA, I decided not to get FM. Now that I in anger destroyed my only controller, and don't intend on buying a new one until the release of FIFA 18, I'm left with one question: Is FM 2017 worth it, or should I just reinstall FM 16?
There's still roughly 4 months until FM 18, so there's plenty of time, but is it worth it?

Thank you in advance...

PS: I don't think I'll be able to play for more than a couple hours a day on average...

if u can get a good healthy discount which i think steam is offering as they are sale i think its worth it.

I would say so. I think it's a fair improvement over previous versions and probably worthwhile for the next few months. You can get a few years into a save at least in that time. There have been a couple years when I held off buying it (mostly when I was a poor grad student) but I'd give it a go.
