My friend said he was doing great using this strange tactic:
DLF DLF DLF strikers
IF IF wingers

DLP defensive mid
FB CB CB FB defenders

The full backs are on support CB on CD defend, DLP on support, Both IF attack or support, all 3 strikers attack.
Using fluid attacking nothing else changed. I couldn't screenshot obviously as it isn't me who uses it.
Basically my question is would this work? He says it is great for him but I'm not so sure.

Considering he is playing 11 outfield players, I'm not sure it'd work ;)
 
I didnt mean to put two defensive mids haha edited it now haha
 
Ahh right. I don't think it would work unless you're a top, top team. Still don't think it would work that well. The inside forwards would come inside and you'd have 5 players in the middle, no width, and only one midfielder to spray the passes around.
