i managed chelsea for 6 months in 2016 i won the prem and everything
got bored with sevilla
but when guardiola left for spain in august
i resigned and took the barca job

Yep, ive taken charge of Newcastle before.

Sold all their players and replaced them with players from the lower leagues :D Sacked after a few months though.

Having hard time to play even with an another team in the same league, so thats a no ! :D

Interesting that. I don't move to a team in the same league immediately (or even same nation) myself. I think for me it's about feeling like an involved fan, and treating it more as a simulation than a game, therefore real world football feelings can still apply.

would not consider mangering birmingham, villa and deffintly not west brom or swindon in fact

I've managed Everton, did pretty well with them too.. But their finances suck and it got boring after about 2 years so I gave up. Never managed United though..

I have managed most teams to be fair.

Liverpool - Got the job when they were 14th in the league, stayed for 4 seasons winning 3 cups including a Europa League and Super Cup
Man Utd - Got the job when Sir Alex retired 2 season in, lasted a season after finishing 3rd and winning nothing. Got the sack, ended up at Valencia and then Liverpool (the above save).
Arsenal - Have been them before but not on FM11 for some reason.

only 2 teams I can't manage as a Liverpool fan are Everton and Manure. City, Arsenal and Chavski are fine.

I believe Brian Clough did it once at Leeds, lol. Got sacked 6 weeks in?

Personally haven't and wouldn't do it in FM. Although, I have a friend (United fan) who loves managing City just for their enormous budget, lol. I think he's secretly converting.

I don't see why I should - Rangers are hardly a challenge, and Lyn and Lillestroem are disgusting and there are better options available. Skeid, which is apparently our rival, is actually more of a friendly rivalry and I'm considering managing them in a LAN.

I was offered the dingles job (wolves) after getting back to back promotions with chesterfield but couldnt come to click the accept button even though they had a transfer budget of 15 million in the championship

I would never be able to manage Rangers , I can't imagine celebrating if I score against Celtic or celebrating winning the league.

tbh I don't care if it's only a game , i could never manage Rangers :) !

.

This thread has kind of inspired me to start another Exeter City Save.

I'm currently 14th in the league after 4 games- Not bad, and not far off the playoffs. I beat Southampton on the opening day 2-0, and come from behind against Sheffield Wednesday to draw 2-2. I've signed some good players- Febian Brandy is one, Abubakari Yakubu and Luke Boden. In total I've brought 12 players.

Should be interesting to see how this develops, I also have Argyle very soon... :)

lazio approaches me every save i do
they don't seem to understand the reasons i always turn them down

Never have, never will.

I seem to start liking teams I manage on FM.. scared it would happen. xD Would feel like a traitor to my club.
