Wycombe Contract Problem

Im trying to offer new contracts to some of my wycombe players, 1st season, whenever i offer a contract to any player either without an agent or with one i cant get the contract length past 2014 where as on other games ive played i can offer deals to 2016, but is it maybe wycombe finances are insecure or is it a different problem ?
