There are hundreds of indie games on Xbox live, most of them very cheap, most of them suck, but some are hidden gems buried in mountains of ****.
How to you find the good games without downloading and playing them all ?

You would look for reviews or feedback on the games, there is very little feedback on any of the 360 indie games, so this thread is to talk about good/bad indie games you have bought or played on Xbox Live.

I play plenty of indie games so I put a few of my thoughts and reviews of them up, hopefully others will too.

So Recently I bought

Experiment 12 - (80MS Points) A basic platform game thats very addictive, jump holes dodge stuff that kills you, and mess with switches that change gravity to cross certian areas.
Its basic, its 2D simple to pick up and play, hard to beat, very good game

INDIE RATING 8/10

Experiment 13(80MS POINTS) the sequel is pretty much more of the same, controls feel a little tighter and its harder. the levels are more complex but its still classic 2D simple and fun platforming

INDIE RATING 8/10

Good idea mate, never really bought an indie title but would be good to see what others have played and rated!

I have bought at least 50 of them, so when I can bothered I will put up more feedback on them

50!? holy **** haha. You must like playing them then. Are the two you rated your favorite ones?

No just the most recent I have played, there awesome because there made by ametur game develpors and the content is not monitored, all sorts of stuff gets onto there

Are you including the bigger indie games like Braid etc?

Braid is an Arcade game made by a bigger company, but adding XBLA games to this thread makes sense. Braid is an awesome game which has drained several hours of my life.
I think there is better value to be found in XBLA and indie games than in normal retail games nowadays.

INDIE GAME = I Accidently In Space - Basically Space Raiders, but you are a man, not a spaceship. The aim of the game is to destroy the invaders at the top of the screen while jumping up platforms to reach the goal at the top. A nice twist added to the Space Raiders formula to give it more depth.
Also the game has some seriously good music (Thats if your a metal head)

INDIE RATING 6/10 (80 MS Points to Buy)

INDIE GAME = The most Addicting Sheep Game - If a game is fun and easy to play but impossible to master then you have a fine game.
That what this game is, dont be put off by the daft and silly titles that a lot of INDIE games have, there still some good games.
The aim of the game is to get the sheep to the end of each level by jumping over platforms to the rythem of the music.
Fun and satisfying at first, but gets frustrating in later levels as you get more addicted and irate.

INDIE RATING = 8/10 (80 MS Points to Buy)

INDIE GAME - Escape Goat (240 MS Points)

This one is a little expensive for an indie game, but its good. Its a puzzle/plat-former type of game.
You a goat who has been jailed for witchcraft (WTF...I no like a lot of good games the story is not to be taken serious) Throughout the game you have to escape each room you are placed in, there is often different and innovative puzzles and a few not so challenging enemies to fight, or ignore. I had a lot of fun playing through this and its worth the extra MS points

7/10

Always looked at but never bought, nice idea for a thread, may look in to buying some :D

If you like old school RPGs both Cthulu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII are entertaining, if lighthearted. Neither of them are super long, but they're fun and the combat system is inventive while staying within the limitations of the 16-bit era.

I've had them both on Steam for a while but simply can't get them to run, both of them crash on launch. One day I'll fix it and play them.
