Xbox live problem

I'm having problems with my xbox live, everytime i sign in it doesnt connect to live so i test the connection and it says cant optain i.p address, so i assign a static i.p address and that doesnt work either, i'm puzzled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Yea got it at xmas but ive been on live since then and it has been working fine and this only started to happen the other day

ahh of course, didnt think of that.
If u have, it may have been banned from xbox live

Tried google and it gave me different static i.p's but that still wont work.

I dont see how it can have been banned because ive been on live before on this xbox since xmas
