XML error and cannot load save game file error

Got the error "cannot load save game file". Followed the instructions to get rid of it and then went to load and the "not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 of default.xml" error came up.

Really need a good solution to this if possible. The laptop uses Windows vista.

I am getting the same error. My save game went out the window.
