Does these tactics still work after updates? Been trying to make a good 4-2-3-1& 4-1-2-2-1 for ages

Yes, the 4-2-3-1 Home (4) and Away (3) work for me. The 4-1-2-2-1 doesn't work that well.

So after 2 seasons in my SAF Challenge Where I took over West Bromwich Albion, the thing below given in the screenshots has happenend using this tactic.

I will not give too much information and will let the Screenshots speak for themselves.


Season 2016-2017:

I got qualified for the EL after this season, this because of the win of the FA Cup for Manchester United, and because they were already qualified, the qualification for the FA Cup was for me.

Like Per already said, most of the times you are using the 5.1(D) in away matches, do that and you will get good results.

V3.1 A is the old away tactic, the V5 D is nowadays the Away tactic and fir challenging the big boys.

Loving the tactic since a lot of the tactics around for this edition are without Inside Forwards and this one does have them and a stiker, too!

Lots of domination and goals, but I feel the man behind the striker in the Attacking Midfielder role does more harm than good. He's rarely involved with goals and assists, and when he has the ball, he just decides to shoot from distance without succes while there are passing options.

Has anyone tried it in an Advanced Playmaker role? Going to try it once my current season is over but that'll take a while.
