Year 2020, running out of players!

Hi,
I'm in 2020 with spurs, I'm loving the game, have a few world class up and coming youngsters, and currently on a 73 game League unbeaten run. The problem I have is that the game appears to be running out of decent regen players.
I go through all the major teams in the world and they only have a squad of about 10 players. I started the game on med database running all english leagues only and I assume this is why there are hardly any players.

Is there any way I can change this? Or do I need to start again oO) ?

You will have to start a new game again to load up the leagues you select and the teams within the legues.

if i was you start again fresh maybe try lower league management
