Yellow light of death?

Hey, just today I got the "Yellow Light of Death" on my PS3. I was playing the Resident Evil 5 demo before it shut off randomly, not turning back on afterwards. I have the same model as you've described. It'd be greatly appreciated if you could walk me through on what to do.. I'm nearly clueless. I've taken my hard drive out, but I have no idea to put it into my computer tower. I took off the plate, but it looks like the PS3 hard drive is too small to fit properly. I could get you some pictures if they'd help you get an idea of what i'm talking about. So far i'm looking at $190.97 for it to be serviced, as my warranty expired last Halloween. Would buying a completely new hard drive solve the problem? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...
