Yellow padlock cheat

Is anyone else onto the cheat thats possible on fm18, where if a team automatically asks for no less than the minimum release fee or a high fee, you can just put the ywlloe padlock on an offer slightly higher than their value and then the club will automatically negotiate the same fee. Can get hundreds of world class players and wonderkids for so cheap. Needs to be fixed as its too easy to cheat :'(

Am I right in thinking that you are making an offer for the player, the team responds with a counter that is very high, but you then respond with an offer slightly over his value and lock it as non-negotiable?

Might give it a go but not sure it's a cheat, a non-negotiable fee is just that - non -negotiable.

you offer 15m
Sporting ask for 81m greyed out so you cant negotiate
You click off, make a new offer of 15.25m with the yellow padlock
Sporting make a non negotiable offer to you of 15.25m
You accept the offer and get him that cheap

When you say 'Click off' do u end negotiations (walk away) or just leave that window?

You need to explain the 'click off' bit as Snorks says is it ending the negotiations or something else.

yeah you hit cancel, then go back onto the offer page and make the offer with the yellow padlock slghtly above the player value
