York City. Help?

Hello Forumers, and die-hard FM-Guru's!

I'm in a spot of bother, I started managing York City in the BSP. I got promoted winning the league in a very convincing fashion. 46 games 44 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss. 121 goals or something like that.

Anyhow I've been promoted and now I can't win to save my life. I'm trying to constantly motivate my team, which is working Morale is good, but we just can't win.

Since my first game I've been using the tactic "Might and Magic by Raikan007" but now It just isn't working.

If anyone has any advice, or a tactic which would help me dominate. I would be grateful.

Hard to say without knowing anything about your team. Anyway, here are 3 formations using the same direct counter approach made for underdogs/middle teams and smaller sides although unless you have a side that actualkly can compete with the other, yhou wont se any domination ;D

i'm doing a career with york myself atm, and i use tom-eriks tactic, Tom-Erik's Miracle Tactic FM12 - Downloads - Football Manager 2012 Tactics, Wonderkids & Cheats , works brilliantly for matty blair on the wing and jason walker up front. ive just won my first premier league in 2018 aswell so i can vouch that it works

You won in 2018 with a team starting in BSP, thats simply amazing, the best results I have eve heard of. Are those results 12.2.2 ?

yeah, they do start off with a good side though, can get to league 1 without much hassle. then it was just pruning the young players premier league teams had released and signing golden oldies on frees
