You class this as cheating?...

If I was to start a new game with PSG and put Ibra, T. Silva and Lavi in via editor?
 
You payed for the game-do what you will with it. No-one elses business
 
Its your game do as you choose mate but i would never use the editor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Not really. You can also download a database from here that already has the big transfer updates from this summer.
 
I would not even call it cheating if editing them into your Walsall squad. Then I would call it playing a scenario.
 
Hmm, that suggests an interesting one to edit and just watch: edit in those three into the Walsall team, add a couple of decent Championship players to augment the team, and put Brian McLaren as manager - play it out for a season and see if they can avoid relegation...
 
It's never cheating away, its your game, you can play as you see fit. The only time the argument comes up is if you are playing against other people, or you are trying to show your achievements as untampered, since you are not, it's not an issue.

But in this case certainly not, they have after all signed for the club. All you have done is update your side.
 
No it's not cheating, your game and you play it the way you want to, also moving players in the editor is a very common thing, I used to do all the transfers in the database editor to make my game more realistic so you would be doing the same, making it more realistic ;)
 
People do transfer updates and use them and it isn't classed as cheating and this is a transfer update.
 
Sometimes I use FMRTE to give myself a sugar daddy and I pretend it was a legitimate takeover, now I never brag or share those saves on FMBASE, the point is have fun playing the game that you purchased.
