I've been playing FM for a while but I can't remember a goal better than this one. Perhaps there have been goals scored from further out or harder angles, but there is just something about the way this one dips into the opposite corner.

I don't count goals from the halfway line as wonder goals as they're always into an empty net (purely a personal opinion). But the best I've ever seen was a forty-yard
header from Vincent Aboubakar in FM11. The keeper punted a free kick downfield, my back line headed it back, Aboubakar ran past their back line (yep, one of those), headed the ball over the retreating keeper, and with one bounce it went in. Completed a perfect hat trick as well. A pure fluke - and one of those daft goals from headed balls over the top that they seem to have got rid of - but still amazing. Didn't save it, unfortunately.
