I can't remember this thread on the old Forums, but i thought i'd make it anyway as i believe it is an essential.

Didn't know exactly where to post it so here will do.

So...

Which Football Management game is your favourite?

Mine is still CM9798 although FM2005 is a very close 2nd.

Championship Manager 01/02 and Football Manager 2005 have been my favourites but the most enjoyable has to be Championship Manager 95/96. Me and Sean used to play it all the time, most memorable moment was being the Cadiz manager.

Yes Yes Yes... the memories, 01/02, oh how I miss that versions. Definatly my favourite there. Most enjoyable is FM05. Cant beat it yet, hope 06 lives up to its quality.

FM 2005 is my favorite so far, such a great game.

I said 03/04,i think only because i had more games on there. although i tink FM is better

yeah i liked CM4 - some classic games on there but for gameplay - it just gets better every year so its always the latest version - not CM5 though thats awful - fm2005!

ooo, my first post

id have to say that its either between cm / and football manager

football manager it is, just for the new features

FM 2005 by a long way, folowed by championship manager 01/02.

Both great games.

CM01/02 seemed to be the more addictive one. I most enjoyed it as well compared to the rest.

I agree with it being addictive, but it wasn't exactly the hardest version. FM 2005 is addictive and difficult which for me makes it the best management game ever made.

cm 99/00 i played it all the time and knew exactly who to buy for each club :D

fm05 was class aswell tho

97/98

The first time is always the most memorable...but not always for the right reasons :p

FM2005 at the end of the day takes the cake though.

Gotta say i enjoyed 93/94 more than anything else.

Tranmere with 31million ;)

Nii Lapaty and all that

03-04 not too much **** like fm05 and not just **** like cm4 iam glad to see noone voted for cm4 as well..

CM1 for me not very challenging, but it was the one that got me hooked.

I`d have to say it was CM 95/96 which was most enjoyable for me as it was where i had my first taste of international management me and a friend used to spend every night battling it out for the divison 1 title and then trying to beat each other in the world cup and european championships as england and scotland manager

id say 03/04 because it was the one i first got hooked on and i guided Exeter to Championship fom confrence. ( I had played CM 3 because it was cheap but hated it)

mine is eitha 00-01 the 1 that got me hooked, or 03-04 cos it was the easiest to do well on. won prem with Soton, Pompey, spurs

it got to be CM 03/04 for me!!! because it was the first one i played on and got me hooked!!

FM 2005....the very first sigames big leap in football management game. The 2d match play...the tactic, training, media comment. And the most important the match play....it's gets harder n harder.
