looks like you're on the wrong website man, this website is for football manager!!!

Yeah but everyone started their football management somewhere hence the point of the post :P

USM 98-99 :D

Such a pity it doesn't work on anything higher than ME/2000 though :(

Do you need MS-Dos to run it? If so have you thought about getting DosBox to run it?

My first fm game was CM3 back in 98-99. Still the best of the lot in my opinion. But i bought all the older versions before that so enjoyed CM2 and CM italia aswell.

Yeah, tried it. Didn't work :/ Used to have a "VirtualPC" OS emulator that I could use. Might try and get it running again sometime.

Thats a shame, DoxBox is pretty good, I have it for the original Championship Manager.

Think this was the first football manager game I played..

Do you remember this little device?...

Before you start the game you had to put a code in.. It would give you a picture of a kit (shorts and shirt) .. and a number.. you then have to match the shorts and shirt up by spinning the wheel round.. then look for the number given.. and it would then say the code next to it.. never understood the meaning for this!

Quality game for it's time.. You could only choose teams in the lowest division, I remember always being Wycombe as they we're the best team in their division.

Football Manager on the Amiga. Think it was around 87/88 or so.
I did have a crappy one on the Spectrum 128k+2 in the early 80's but couldn't play it.

FIFA 2005 Manager Mode (doesnt really count though)

so FIFA Manager 2011
but I saw the light and got Football Manager 2011 soon after

My first management game was FIFA Manager 2010, but I got FM 2011 the year after...
