Isn't that goal from Costinha from a fake foul or offisde? I remember something like that.. Dunno specifically, but, its still an emotional goal, I get it.

If i remember rightly, Scholes had a goal wrongly disallowed to make it 2-0 on the night - if Costinha's goal had been for 2-1 and not 1-1 it would've gone to extra time


On topic, so many from the 98/99 season, late winners in epic games almost every week. Forgetting the obvious that others will no doubt post (Solskjaer's winner in UCL final and Giggs wonder goal in F.A Cup Semi) i will say Juve vs United UCL semi second leg. 1-1 at OT in the first leg after a Fergie time Giggs equaliser, an equaliser we barely deserved, i wasn't confident about United's chances going into second leg. Ten Minutes in and United were 2-0 down....3-1 down on aggregate to the strongest team in Europe at the time, in their back yard.

What followed was one of United's greatest ever comebacks 2-2 at half time gave United advantage on away goals - a goal for either team from this point would probably settle the tie, United hit the post twice trying to kill the game. Finally, Yorke skips through and it brought down by the keeper... Penalty?
I jump up screaming penalty but it didn't matter because Cole taps in the loose ball for 3-2 to United - that moment right there was pretty emotional - Juventus would now need two goals, United were in the UCL Final....

Post your most emotional moment or goal you can remember in football, videos if possible would be nice.

Everytime i see this penalty is gives me goosebumps, days after his mum passed away and just 2 days before his mums funeral. Just the whole celebration and seeing his dad in the stand is just excellent putting us through to the CL Final for the first time in Chelsea's history.
