Youth Candidates and Recruitment Help???

On Fm2011 i could always produce youth players each year. The news feed title read "Club intake youth players" or something and it would tell you where they are from. But on Fm 2012 i don't get that. Is it usally in June or July? I have realised that no other clubs have produced youth players? And also how do you start a youth candidates match against your under 18's squad? Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????

They come a month or two before the end of the season, and the match gets played automatically

You can not have a youth team if you're a poor club, but if you do, it happens in march-may time.
