My best game in FM history thanks to Falchion v3. Funnily the centre forward did not score a goal.

Best tactic I used so far without so many yellows ( thats important ) is Falchion v3

You did it zyndar, now I hope to see 4-2-3-1 and 4-5-1 formations :)

Good result indeed. In my opinion if the defence could be improved just a bit without losing attacking power, it would be THE TACTIC for me ;)

You dont' need to improve defence, it's fantastic

Just started a save with bournemouth with fachion v3 any suggestions on a cm to suit this tactic but mainly a F9 for it??

I agree, the defence can be improved indeed. I experience alot of counter attacks and we're very vulnerable for quick players and high tempo short passes.
I barely have a clean sheet (and no the goals are not scored in the last 10 mins, I'm using the defensive version then). Any ideas what to do?

My general note is that this is how the ME works. If you are playing a 4-3-3, you will be exposed on the wings/counters. If you are sitting deep, they will score from long shots, etc.

My advice to the users of FALCHION V3: add 'Hold position' to both CMsu, it will greatly reduce opponent's chances without damaging attacking force.

Don't have any screenshots because I'm at work, but came here to say that Falchion V3 is sick. Took over Toulouse halfway through January when they were in 18th position. Took them all the way to 4th and the final of Coupe de la Ligue and no league losses in that time.

I am using 442 :)
Had great progress with Norwegian club Aalesund. Won the double 3 years a row, and played in the Champions League group stage the last two. I was hired by Schalke with 8 games to go of the season and ended up with 6-1-1. Very satisfied with this tactic :)
I was hired just before the game against Köln (which i won 7-2) Also beat Bayern 4-2 away!

Was trying to upload SS, but both upload and url from photobucket failes.
So there is the link:

Thanks mate, I'll try it than! An another question what do you do as individual training?

Thanks for your advice mate. Added that PI in my Sassuolo save and on the next 10 matches and got 4 clean sheets and the goals against dropped substantially. This setting reminds me a bit to your Puskas II.1, where 1 or both CM on support duty (don't remember exactly) had this setting and I've never seen it before.

Could you summarise all the tweaks you made?

*gave both fullbacks attack duty(can revert back to support depending on match situation)
*mentality to standard(change to counter if needed later in a match)
*changed DLP for BWM with defend duty
*changed AF to DLF with support duty
*changed d-line to normal

I really didnt want to change the DLP but i dont have the players to do it and i find that the BWM gives me more stability overall although it may reduce attacking effectiveness in some games but i cant be sure.if ive forgotten anything i will update

This additional PI for the CMs seems to be very effective, the opponents players are all at sea and don't know what to do in most of the cases. Less goals conceded, same amount scored, great stuff with a fairly simple change!

I train all players in their positions.
Balanced (two ticks from left) and rest after game during deason.
Def. Positioning for match training.

No other OI than from the OP.

Will try the tactic in a whole season now.
I played the last 8 games with "teamwork" as matchtraining, since the players had to get known with the new tactic.
