Im running a netbook now, personally wouldn't recommend them, they're slow and have many downsides to them, to play FM on them you have to mess around with launch settings in steam and wait for a specially made netbook skin to play because of the screen resolution being small.

Yeah mines done the same! and im on a netbook, but i can start up the game, If you open steam, game library, then right click on the FM12 Demo, go to Properties -> General -> Set Launch Options and put the command " --small_screen --windowed " (without the quotes) in, then the demo...
