Cheers godfish I had a 'continue when 50% of users are waiting' ticked from an online game although it was grayed out so i thought it wouldn't have any bearing in my offline game. Its all sorted now though, so thanks for the heads up :-)

Im also doing Gateshead and had the same issue, won the league on 112 points first season 157 GF 66 GA and for a while my away form was better than my home form. The pitch is a right mess. try and get the board to agree to relay in your 1st season as they will do the 'relay' in the off season...
