Is there any way to reduce the number of goals that come from by-line crosses? That said, I've unticked the cut-inside option on the wing backs, and tightly mark on the single center forwards but still it feels every cross from the by-line goes in from an unmarked striker. And three CBs standing...

I agree. I can play 4 games on the way home from work (long commute) and will lose/draw all, but replay them using the full version and I'll win 4 on the bounce scoring 16 odd goals. I'm adamant the match engines are similar but not the same.

Not played many games, but I'm finding the tactic is much better defensively if played as Fluid and counter. At present v3 is very leaky, even against weaker opponents. Going forwards, great. But winning 4-2 rather than 2-0.

Not sure what's going on with the corners, but it's a mess. Swapped out for Jassars and much improved.

@Rocheyb Thanks for that, will give it a go. It doesn't explain how the CPU controlled teams like Spurs can put cross after cross in, and each one is met by the striker, when playing the 4231 formation. The position of the midfielders might change, sometimes a deep V, but the crossing is...

Will have a look tonight. Liked the original, but found it to be too vulnerable to the big teams (even when I was ECC winner).

Made the tactic more rigid and less expressive, and still met with reluctance to go wide. Always the first move is made to go inside. Crossing is absolutely lethal in this ME, but you just can't seem to get them to do it.

There' s a complete lack of tactics for formations with two wingers, playing in a winger role rather than Inside Forwards or Defensive Forwards. The CPU has devastating attacks down the flanks, and every cross from the byline is met by the striker, even when there are 4 defenders around them...

Had to give up on all the flavours of this tactic, too many cheap goals given away by a simple ball over the top. Started to lose 0-1 even when dominating for the whole match, a kick from the keeper would find itself over the top of a high, stationary backline and their striker through on goal...

Corner tactic is immense. Love it. Swapping between this tactic and Insanity. Top stuff. Edit. Is there a way to change the player outside the box to STC instead? Having the DM is all good and well, but the real power is upfront.

I guess it would work in reverse. Want an extra few million when selling a duff player. Accept the offer, amend, save, load, hey presto. Might as well use FMRTE though. Same result, less effort.
