Why would I buy the game when I have been given a copy as a gift?

I don't even have Steam on my PC. I can play the game perfectly well, I just don' know how to get the update patches.

I have put the folder in the graphics folder with all my other facepacks. It does have a config file otherwise no photos would show. I'll give you an example: If, in the game, you go to PAOK Salonika's team, the names of all of the players except two are greyed out. The two that aren't greyed...

I have downloaded a facepack for the Greek league. Most of the players in game are greyed out, with the exception of a couple per team. This results in only the non greyed out ones' photos showing up in game. How can I fix it so they all show up?
