How many leagues do you have loaded? If you progress far enough into a game, the amount of regens coming in will overpower the number of players retiring, and the number of players will increase. For example, when i start a game with 80000 players, by year 2, i have over 95000. Try a smaller DB.

If you change the CA of a player via FMRTE, will the stats of the player increase accordingly as well?

When I tried to change the kits for my team SC Bastia, they wouldn't show up in the match. How can I fix this, because the kits were really cool.

You can't 'train' players with FMRTE... You edit them to make them better. Training them takes time and effort, using FMRTE only demonstrates a lack of the two.
