This is a 41212 I've been working on today, with the aim being to dominate and control matches via possession. It has been tested witha Newcastle side 10 years into the future, where I took over them, sold their entire squad, and brought in, well, Regen FC.

The idea is to be patient, work around the opposition and wait for movement. Play in triangles, stretch the opposition, and take control. When you lose the ball, press heavily and then slow it down again.

Results - I created this after the Bournemouth game. A couple of losses (one superkeeper performance, one where my strikers just seemingly gave up), but very positive all round:

Have your wingbacks take the corners, and your tallest striker as SCL. Throw-ins, free-kicks use whoever you like.

Possession stats - Prior to creating this I was using a low possession, very direct tactic which averaged around 40% so it is skewed low somewhat. We average around 60%+ usually:
