This is a tactic that I made on a whim, kind of like a bit of a meme. I've always wondered whether it's actually possible to create a tactic with 1 DC that actually gets results. Therefore I created this tactic:
The goal of this tactic is to focus on keeping the backline as solid as can be whilst allowing some decent attacking structure. I decided to simulate a single season of the tactic with SC Heerenveen in the Eredivisie as they are the most average side possible in the league. At least in my opinion, that is. All in all the results were far better than expected:
In total the league record in terms of goals was 61 scored (5th in the league) and 36 conceded (shared 4th in the league.
