Having been a fan of the Volante for a while now I thought that it would be a wise decision to try my hand at creating a tactic with 2 of them. Then, while building the tactic, I had the incredible idea of adding a third DM to the mix to just have a bit of a laugh. Pictured below is the actual formation itself in all its glory.

But what ended up happening surprised me quite a bit...

Somehow we had managed to end up 5th in the table!

There was a good spell in December, and a terrible one through January and February in the simulation. But hey, that's football. What it does tell me, however, is that with a little bit of personal intrusion into the player mentalities, as opposed to letting the game simulate everything consecutively, there was a very real chance at finishing with even more points!

I've even gone ahead and put my own results in a little overview for you all to look at.

What I have personally found from looking at the more intricate stats of the team is that the HB hasn't been great in tackling as they amassed only 60% completion rate, the lowest of the entire team bar the goalkeeper. (This could be down to a multitude of factors, but I personally would put it down to them having the lowest attribute in tackling of all defensive players that I played.)

The VOL were both incredible work horses, amassing 14.1KM and 14.4KM respectively in distance covered per 90. They also ranked 2nd and 3rd in the team in total distance covered as well.

As expected the wingers were both incredibly important from a playmaking perspective. Both of them having the highest distance covered per 90 with 14.6KM and 15.0KM respectively. They amassed the most chances created, the most key passes per 90, and most key passes in general.

The lone striker has done fantastic as well, despite them being so alone up front. Having amassed 21 goals in the Eredivisie Strand Larsen has ended up as the competition's topscorer.
