BEWARE: THIS DATABASE IS NOT REALISTIC, THIS HAS BEEN MADE HOW I'D WANT DUTCH FOOTBALL TO BE!
As someone who is hellbent against the usage of reserves/b tems/jong teams in any senior flight I've been making custom databases for The Netherlands to fix that issue. I've always wanted those teams to be replaced by actual senior teams and have new squad rules so all clubs in the nation must focus greatly on their own youth talents. As such I hereby give the world my database that overhauls the way football is played in the Netherlands.
The league system in this database from highest to lowest are:
Eredivisie -> Keuken Kampioen Divisie -> Tweede Divisie -> Derde Divisie-> Nederlandse Hoofdklasse -> Eerste Klasse -> Tweede Klasse
All of these leagues must adhere to the following rules:
Minimum of 8 Nation Homegrown players in the 23-man squad.
Minimum of 4 Club Homegrown players in the 23-man squad.
Two cups have been added:
KNVB Amateurbeker: a cup specifically for teams from the Eerste and Tweede Klasse. Prize money isn't grand, but more than enough to help an amateur club out at that level.
KNVB NextGen Beker: a cup specifically for teams to use their young talents sporadically in a first team environment. This cup covers every single league in the database, meaning that an amateur side can meet an Eredivisie side in the 2nd round of the cup already. This cup also has the most squad rules in the database for the 23 man squad, which are:
Maximum of 1 23+ player in the playing 11.
Maximum of 2 23+ players in the match squad.
Minimum of 6 u18 players in the playing 11.
Minimum of 11 u18 players in match squad.
For the youth there are u23s and u18s that are bound to the senior team's competition level. This means that your youth team will promote/relegate along with your senior team.
Competition prize money is available for the KNVB Amateurbeker, KNVB Beker, KNVB NextGen Beker, Eredivisie, Keuken Kampioen Divisie, and Tweede Divisie.
Multiple team swaps have occurred. All of the "Jong" and "Zaterdag" teams have been removed and replaced by other sides. These changes are as follows:
Keuken Kampioen Divisie:
Removed: Jong PSV, Jong Utrecht, Jong Ajax, Jong AZ
Added: VV Katwijk, De Treffers, AFC, Rijnsburgse Boys
Tweede Divisie:
Removed: Jong Sparta, Jong Vitesse, VV Katwijk, De Treffers, AFC, Rijnsburgse Boys
Added: USV Elinkwijk, SV Panningen, DVC Appingedam, Sportclub Enschede, WVV Wageningen, VSV Velsen
Eerste Klasse Zaterdag A:

Added: SV Babberich
Tweede Klasse Zaterdag C:
