This tactic here is not getting enough credit. I mainly use the tactic as default with offensive/very fluid, if im a really big favorite I go down to counter/really fluid. (If opponent has more than 5.00 odds) It's been pretty succesful so far. Going after Ferguson! Omw: 9ab289645766fd7741e7256f8e2a85df.png

This is still working wonders for me also.

I decided to try another save with Dortmund to show some stats of what a good team can do with this tactic. Not the best team in Germany but with a few signings and this tactic, capable of winning everything. This was using the LFC Update.

In the 3 cups i entered i won the League. Got knocked out of the German Cup in the 4th round because i gambled with youngsters (it happens). At the end of the season the club won the Champions League dominating PSG in the final.

Here are some screenshots of my season

All in all this is a devastating attacking tactic. I thought i would give a bit more information on it this time to show how good this tactic has been for me. Good job on making this one.

Seems having a right footer on the left is fine then? OP was suggesting the opposite?

Personally i think this is something people should test out. I have it both ways with different teams. Reus seemed to play much better on the left hand side for me and he scored 24 goals 30 assists for a winger so im quite sure he was in the right spot for my team.

Normally i go one side as an out and out winger with the correct footing and the other side a winger who cuts inside. I suppose with united, who i always manage first, you have no choice as both young and nani cut in and valencia is the only out and out winger, but i assume it will work in other instances.

Anyway in regards to the tactic, how do you use it mate cause i've tried it thoroughly once or twice and i really liked it, but i couldn't get it working consistently. How do you set our training, do you mind uploading a screenshot?
Also do you use OI every game? and who did you buy as your *** man/coach to set them?

I think the best thing with this tactic is to give it time. I mean obviously if your squad is weaker its gonna be harder to win the games but generally it is very solid. The reason i like it is solo striker i like my front man to score a lot of goals and i feel this is the best tactic for that around at the moment.

My training is like this

Staff Responsibilities what i leave my Assistant Manager do

With this tactic you should be aiming for your Assistant to have as high in Tactical Knowledge and motivating as possible i think the stand out one is Mauro Tassoti i had Wim Teunissen and he done just fine.

Thanks so much dude, you're very helpful!

I'll give it another go :) Do you set your OI again around 65 mins when the opponent makes subs?

Also what kind of striker works best, a poacher type player ( Falcao, Higuain, Gomez etc.) or deep lying forward that "comes deep to get the ball" (lewandowski, Benzeema, Rooney etc.) ?

I do not touch OI at all i mean this might hinder me sometimes im not too sure but overall i won the league and champions league so it done the job and i was very very pleased regardless. I would say a poacher type of player. The best choices i have had great success with are Robert Lewandowski, Facundo Ferreyra, Falcao, Carlos Fierro, Mbaye Niang and Yassine Benzia.

Great, really feeling confident.

So just to confirm, i tick in the staff responsibilities for my *** man to set OI at the start of the game and that's it i just forget about it from then on?

Last question, is the target man supply supposed to be "to feet", its just funny as usually people set it to "run onto ball"?

Sorry for all the questions, just keen to make sure im using this 100% correctly. Your help is much appreciated!

I didnt tinker with anything at all just left it as it was and you can see the goal results i mean that is a good goal record in this years Football Manager. I think he is capable of possibly more as well but i have to sell him now because he will leave in a year for sure.

With the assman leave it to him all the way through the season but really be full aware of his tactical knowledge and motivating its very important.

I don't get it, is this tactic bad with 13.1.1 and only good for 13.3? If so, why?

Anyone having success with the 4-3-2-1?

Will try it now with Hull (summer update)!

I am 30 games into my Boro save and I'm 3rd in the Championship, top scorers with 51 goals and 3rd best defence with 27 against. So far a very good tactic, not 100% wins but very enjoyable

Great! Is it with the newest patch?!

Do you reckon Falcao will be ok for the AF role or is he too slow? Same for Moutinho in the AP role, he has 12+ tackling but is he too slow?

Despite Falcao is a bit slow, he could be a decent choice. And Moutinho? He has ppm of "come deep to get the ball", "Dictate Tempo" so AP isn't for him. Think abouat Hamsik, Wilshere, Honda who has ppm of "get forward whenever possible" and has high bravery. cheers !
