IMO chile just far better team, they out worked, out passed, out thought Spain. Spain had no pace chile had runners in abundance, Spain did the usual possession for possession sakes whereas everything chile did had a purpose. Sanchez and Vargas lead the line well, Vidal was everywhere, Medel was an absolute colossus at the back and bravo had a couple of shaky moments but dealt with everything just about so yeah IMO was pretty comprehensive
 
Yeh the work-rate of Chile was just ****** insane!!! This World Cup is so open you just can't predict anything anymore...... it's great.
 
I said it before the World Cup but i would do absolutely anything to have Alexis Sanchez on my team.

From a Liverpool point of view, he is available for around 20-30million and in terms of quality is easily worth that amount. Will be hot property after the World Cup

He's a colossal player.... really hope he comes to the Premier League.... no matter who he joins.

I thought Croatia were unlucky first game... well actually... robbed by the referee, felt they deserved at very least a draw. Got a sneaky feeling they can win this... Cameroon were exceptionally poor in their first game.

Yeh and Modric has recovered... Rakitic and Modric is a great partnership to have. I think this group will go down to the Croatia and Mexico game to be honest.... of course assuming Croatia can get at least a draw out of this game.

Rakitic and Modric will be playing a lot against each other from next season :)
 
Is it possible that Croatia and Mexico are going to the semi's or is Brazil too far ahead?
 
You guys are seriously overhyping Chile's perforrmance. They were good, but they were not that good. They basically took two half-chances and were extremely lucky not to concede. Spain outplayed them completely in literally all the stats except the goals.

If Hodgson leaves England after the world cup id love to see Hoddle given another chance. Talks so much sense (when he's talking football that is, not religion)
