I genuinely want Costa Rica to win. Then at least there is no hope going into the next game. Cant go through it all over again.

Will someone gag Savage. How the BBC can have some big name players in the studio yet we have to put up with his **** dribble during the actual matches.
 
At the end of the day if we have to rely on other results to get through then we don't deserve it. No-one gave Costa Rica a chance and fair play to them, holding their own against the Italians in that 1st half and should have had a penalty. Yes its been poor from an England view but this World Cup has been amazing!

Not quite sure if it was actually a pen though. I'd say foul wasn't in the box.

Well, we're ******. At least Gerrard retiring from England is a bit of good news I guess, even if it is 2 games too late.
 
Worst performance ever at a major tournament and Hodgson will stay on to manage us at the Euros. Almost as laughable as Greg **** still claiming we can win the 2022 World Cup
 
I predicted 2-0 to Costa Rica today. Need one more goal! Will be the only one that get any points in our prediction league if they do.
 
What is good about Gerrard retiring? It was hardly a massive blunder against Uruguay and the whole world knows he's a Top class player

To be fair, what are the alternatives? Not many decent ones ...

Steve Bruce? Done a decent job with Hull but can't see him being a significant upgrade

Big Sam? Lol

Harry Redknapp? No idea but I guess he is always worth a shout

Glen Hoddle? Guys been out of management for so long, I rather not take the risk

Gareth Southgate? Lol

This is of course working on the assumption that we will continue with our 'policy' of English managers which I think is a good one. If not, there are obviously a plethora of options that are certainly more inspiring than Woy
 
He went up for a challenge!! Not hiding, he was unlucky, not stupid. He's the best English player of the last 10 years
