I said Barcelona received it's more than fair amount of biased referees. Referees are also humans, so naturally they have a favorite team. The last years the whole world was caught up in this "tiki-taka" BS, and that caused the favoritism by referees. Chelsea eliminated them from the semi's in 2012 because they did what was needed to cancel their play style, not because the referees helped them or refused to help Barcelona.
I never said Barcelona are UEFA's favourite. You twisted my words for your likeing. I said referees are biased.
At this WC on the other hand, Brazil seems to have biased referees every single game.

I do not have the figures in front of me but when Real Madrid are in the knock out stages they help generate far more sponsorship money for Uefa. So yes Real are more favoured by Uefa for the monetary gain as I said by a long mile.

Back to Brazil. As I said they have the home advantage so to some it may look like they have the refs bias but if that was so then Hulk's goal would of probably been allowed to stand against Chile. The foul against Neymar went unpunished and now he has a fractured vertebrae last night. That's just two examples of the referee not being biased but more the fact that a majority of reffereeing has been below par this whole World Cup.

If all the refs were biased to Brazil like you say then that is factually incorrect.

I agree with your bolded sentence 100%. But my points was this: how many teams get help from referees every single game? Brazil has that. Let's be honest, if Brazil doesn't win this WC, riots will break out, and it will be mayhem. This whole tournament will be in danger if they don't reach the finals and win it.

It sickens me you see people speculate like that all because a World Cup is being held in a country with economic problems but someone then says it has to be fixed as all **** will break loose if the hosts are not allowed to progress. It is making out that the citizens of these countries are only interested in violence.

If you can come up with some actual facts that Brazil are being favoured recieving special treatment or whatever then I would like to see them. You have not provided any factual evidence that in any of the Brazil matches to go with your argument that this World Cup is fixed.

Nope, that's not how it works sunshine. Russell's Teapot. 'Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.' The onus is on you to prove it, not for everyone else to prove otherwise

As mentioned above, crazy straw manning to claim that none of us think Brazil are capable of receiving special treatment. That's not the case, but there's a big gap between a few refs marginally favouring them and flat out cheating.

Look at Korea for example. When you say that in 2002 they reached the semi's, everybody knows the way they reached it. If Brazil gets the same refereeing as they did so far, it won't mean **** if they win it.

What GC and the others said. There have been no OFFICIAL claims of match-fixing. Therefore, you cannot prove or disprove that Brazil are conditioning officials to give them preferential treatment. The strongest likelihood is that the officials are doing this completely of their own will, because they are the host nation and there is huge pressure on the team to win. However, they have been underperforming, so the officials are giving them a helping hand.

Unless someone makes an official complaint this is all just conjecture.

I am prepared to stop this as well but you keep saying Brazil are being favoured but you have not stated anything to back that up.

As I see it if Brazil had been playing with flair and excitement and had been 3-0 up every game before a ref made a questionable decision then you would not bat an eyelid as the game would of already been won but because they have struggled and not playing like a Brazil team some people expect when a decision goes their way then in your mind Brazil are being helped.

All you have provided there is what you agreed to earlier in the thread. Below par refereeing. This has happened in a majority of matches. Mexico had two goals disallowed in their first game which were legitimate. Robben dived and got a late penalty. Giroud eye gouged and stayed on the pitch. Yet because the refs have been below par in a couple of Brazil matches you have convinced yourself it is all fixed in Brazil's favour.
