I will be utterly shocked if Fred plays again after the 3rd place playoff I think even me with my bionic leg would offer more up front than him, Scolaris news conference will be very interesting I wish sky was showing it sure they'll have the highlights tomorrow.
 
Some of Scolari's decisions are baffling. When Neymar was in the side, Fred acted as his foil. Fair enough. I don't get why Fred is starting now though when Neymar is injured though. He is not international quality at all. Been even more useless than Lukaku this WC

I would rather start Hulk through the middle. Willian instead of Freddy on the wings. If Scolari had picked up the phone to Diego Costa, a lot of his problems might have been solved despite the injury to Neymar
 
Fred wouldn't even get a game for Scotland nevermind Brazil, can't see what hulk brings to the party either tbh

I'm going to be the Fred apologist here and point out that he's actually a very effective striker. Remember his Confederations Cup showing? In 2013 he was averaging nearly a goal a game. Just so happens that since then he's been almost constantly injured and has been thrust into the team despite being unfit because Brazil have basically no other true strikers.

Not having that I'm afraid, he did have a good confederations cup but that is a friendly competition.
