Is this for the latest patch? I currently still have 12.0.4 running and was wondering if I should update for this tactic because I really want to try it.

As 12.0.4 provide no challenge what so ever, I suggest you update anyway

Sorry, I have never used the tactïc but by the looks of it, I dont think the author thinks it matters. But if you look at the settings of the MCs, is there one that looks more like a playmaker, then use that one

1 - Yes
2 - I use both. If you check the player positions, you will see they have the same role. I like for the right footed to be on the MCL and Left on MCR, but that's just me

In set pieces should i just select my best Cm and the central striker or shloud i add the players that replace them?

This was a result I thought was particularly impressive and you can see how many Rooney gets even as he gets old. This tactic works altogether best with a big team I think.

i have just used this tacic with atalanta in my 2nd season in charge with them i was using my own 442 in the first season only loosing 1 league game and getting in to the champions league! then i decided to use this and see what all the fuss was about and this happened
