if playing with smaller/underdog/lower league teams, where the defenders arent that quick, would it be possible to drop the defensive line to deeper, or would this mess the whole tactic up?
so far ive found that i have to keep outscoring teams to win...nice tactic and play when we're in possession (even with 2nd rate players), but we're always conceding on the counter, or balls over the top, in behind the defence.

I have started to play with my right sided striker as the play maker and its working a treat. It seems to get the ball to the forward line a bit quicker. My right sided striker is very good player ( a regen ) as i am in my 9th season with Huddersfield Town. I am sure it would also work with the left sided striker I just used my best striker at the time.
 
By far the best tactic I have used on this patch.started with Newcastle and only lost 1 friendly and once in league cup even wining big away games with this.rotating my 3 strikers to share the goals around and I use both cm as playmakers the left footer on the right side and vice versa. Also selected use playmaker in team instructions.only in January now will post screenshots at end of first season.best tactic on this site in my opinion.

can u explain me how can i use your corner trick in other tactics?

cause when i try it i can only put one player stay behind, and u in your tactics can have 8 players stay behind.

can anyone help me pls?

i dont think its possible,it was a question i asked myself several other last week sometime
 
this tactic gonna be good with my blackburn save? sold a few wingers,and gonna concentrate on filling positions thats needed
 
Both this and Harry's exploit are receiving great reviews.

Been putting off starting a new game because I literally can't decide which is better :(

It is possible.

do the following.
- move desired player to the CENTER defensive midfield position.
- select the "lurk outside area" and move back to the original position.
You now should be able to instruct multiple positions with this position instruction.
 
Guys the link has been updated to address many of the issues some of you have been having.

Yes, but I recommend you set them. There will be a whole new file (currently in the moderation queue) that will answer all these questions. Until now I have replaced the old link with the new one. I'll change it back once the other one is released.

Is it possible to set this tactic up using the TC, then that way it would automatically set playmakers/targetmen?
