the tactic on origanal post is best for 11.3 imo just started new save as united till first of jan so far won every league game and drew 1 c/league game to kopenhagen and still in all cup comps

agreed with this guy above. I did a test with chelsea with the original devasto and it worked brilliantly. Beat united 3-0 away!

I used the original on 11.3 with man utd and struggled against the bigger english teams which ultimately saw me miss out on all the domestic trophies. Won the European cup though. I always beat barca with the original for some reason.
 
when playin against big teams in prem i always set match prep to def possitionin if that helps DoltNow

just finished first seas with united on 11.3 won league played 38 won 37 drew 1 goals for 138 got 109 points rooney 56 goals in 48 games and hernandez 54 in 49 won c/shield carling cup fa cup n league obviously got beat in semi of c/league by madrid this is using origanal tactic on op

Didn't work for me. Got an absolute battering away to Chelsea. 4-1. Down 2-0 after 8 mins. They created 6 CCC chances I created 2. I was in good form going into it and they had some fairly poor results.
 
whats the difference between 2.1 and 2.0 patch , does it work with fm 11.2.0 patch ??
 
It's alright. I tried this tactic with Southampton. Didn't work. I would miss tonnes of chances, other teams would score every goal on the counter.

It was made for 11.2.0 / 11.2.1 therefore it works best on those patches.

There are no differences between these patches in terms of the match engine.
The differences are just the bugs in the actual games....in other words the tactic should work the same in either patch.
 
Has anyone linked this tactic with Dunc's training? If so, what were your settings as I'm struggling a bit to find the right balance.

Actual I've only lost 1 game since this away to Madrid in the group stage of CL down to 10 men. I manged to even get it back to 2-2 but conceded a late winner.
 
well i have been using this tactic with my Stade de Reims team, and its been very wierd, winning big, then suddenly losing big as well and creating no chaces at all.
after a 7-0 win i have only won 1 out of 6 games after, even lost to a non league team in the cup

I dont know if its been mentioned before, 32 pages is alot to read through with a terrible internet connection...

But it seems to be very suspect against the counter attack and set pieces, leading to me conceeding alot of goals, i'd expect to conceed a few more than usuall as i've been playing Smalling/Vidic as my pairing, instead of Ferdinand. in my First season i won the league but with the same amount of points as Arsenal and Rooney did average just over a goal a game. the overall ratings were in the mid 7's for my whole starting 11. but Van Der Sat's was low. i lost to Marsielle in the Quarter-Final's in the Champions League, heavily.
This second season however i've just been pretty bad against big teams...is there anything anyone can reccomend?

sell smalling never turns out that good anyway if u have not already buy new keeper( de gea ) set match prep to team blend all time dont use any opp instructions let *** manager do team talks. Just on the def i play vidic and subotic together concede about 15 a season hope this helps little mate!
 
THis tactic is going well for me still.
Won the league for the first time in Portugal with Boavista.
Made the CL drew Barcelona in the group stage. Lost at home to them 1-2 they scored later into injury time.
Then at their ground I managed a draw 5-5. Pretty crazy.
THey drew their last game as they'd already qualified so I'm guessing they rested their best players. I won my last game and topped the group as a result.
So not bad at all.
And my Boavista side is far from great, I think it's probably the 4th strongest in Portugal.

Smalling did have a better rating than Vidic at the end of the season and has been pretty solid, but i know with his age and inexperience, he will conceed a few goals. - as with De Gea, i tried. and everytime i agreed a fee, he didnt want to negotioate a contract, so i went with Igor Akinfeev instead. and i leave all opposition instructions to my assistant aswell. is it best used with a different patch? i havent installed any as i can never seem to get them to work.
