Right my season three with Palace has finished so I can share it with you.
I finished 5th in the Prem:
We won the League Cup, beating Chelsea in the Final:
We got through to the Qtr Final of the Euro Cup, and only lost that to a very good Florentina side on away goals...
We beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge 2-4:

Results 2/3:
Results 3/3:
Players:
My top three forward players (It was very much a team effort this season, so many games, juggling league cup, euro and prem. These three all chipped in with goals, although Sanogo broke his foot the last third of the season):
Griffiths:
Fleck:
Sanogo:
Delph was a huge part of my season as well, playing alongside Gago, Delph was the heartbeat of my team:
So the tactics... I made three tactics, a 424 Devasto that I made from scratch in advanced mode, a 41122 which was designed to stop the top 5 teams pulling me apart (and which I also played when a team played an AMC which I found gave the 424 problems), and a 4231 which I tried at the end of the season. This tactic was a good 'Control' tactic which was designed to break down teams who were digging and and making it hard for us to make any progress. In this tactic I put in a 'Messi' AMC and a 'Pele' C_Fwd, as designed by Laffles in his "playing like legends' post. It worked a treat but I didn't play it enough to get it fluid to REALLY test it.
Here are the tactics, three .tac files, zipped and uploaded to MediaFire:

Other information:
OI: I always let my AssMan do this, sometimes, when I'm facing tough opponents, I do it myself, as I think he goes a bit mad on the tight marking. I don't think it's that important though.
Match Prep: Pre-Season and until all three tactics are filled up Fluid, Team Blend High. Then I put it on Defensive Movement on average.
TeamTalks: I tend to vary it up a bit pre game, but half time teamtalks I almost ALWAYS say "Have Faith" to anyone not playing with confidence or higher, and "None" to anyone who is. Simples. I do use special case ones when I have to.
Pitch Size: Maximum.
Training: Dunc's medium, but with all strength and Aerobic set to max preseason, then back down once season starts.
I also tend to rest my players in-between games where the gap is 3 days or less., only one day though.
That's it. Hope some of you try it. I find this approach much more satisfying and interactive than just one tactic all season, which soon gets found out anyway.
