has anyone had any luck with this tactic on previous game versions?

have a season on 16.1 and getting absolutely spanked.

I'm Utd and lost first 3 games by 2 goals at least.

I dominate possession, struggle to make chances and then get countered very easily.

Weird that it does not work, seeing this tactic is not made for the old patch.. just update the game

Gob, how about corners? is till use yours, mixed, but the guy taht comes short takes the ball to many times. I do not hget counter attacks, which if very good, but the effectiveness of the corners is too low.

Do you know something to be added? If you could get some corner routine to get more goals, this would be the best tactic for FM16, including patches that will come out!

You can experiment with corners. I haven't found any really good corner setups in FM16 yet

I have tried a few but with no success either. One thing is an exploit, but this year its ridiculous, like the long shots, always against an opponent who will grab the ball and start a counter...

Your older saves do get updated

in that case i guess the tactic just isn't working for me.

Yes, I have to say you get a shed load of corners BUT never score from a single one. The free kicks however are awesome, they nearly always get a goal from. And Junior Hoillet is a revelation at the moment with 7 goals in 7 games lol

Take off "tackle harder" for defenders, or even click "ease off tackles".

Should I play on defensive if I play agains Chelsea, Barca etc as Villarreal? Or counter/ultra defensive?
