The tactic that I have been using for the first 3 seasons suddenly become less effective when I started my 4th season (losing the community shield, first league loss after just 4 league games, and finally my last straw losing 3-1 to FC RB Salzburg) so I decided to try this tactic. It works great about 2/3 of the season, I won 32 matches in a row, scoring lots of goals while not conceding that many. However somehow my team started struggling nearing the end of the season, starting from that Newcastle lost. Probably because the AI knows how to play against this tactic now? I don't really know honestly. The lost to Man Utd made me worried that I was gonna bottle the league so I changed back to my previous tactic, which made my team play great again.
Although I did not use this tactic in the FA Cup final and ECL final, it's this tactic that made getting into the final possible in the first place so it's pretty good. From 46 games, 42W, 1D and 3L. The lack of draws is pretty amazing. However, what I'm most frustrated about is why after a while of using this tactic, even when I won by 2 goals, all the players except the goalscorer and the one who made the assist has bad ratings, (6.4-6.7). It dropped all of my players' ratings drastically. My right back is especially dreadful. I have Trent Alexander-Arnold playing there, so I'm pretty sure he's one of the best players suitable playing the role. The amount of goals scored by the front three isn't amazing as well, and I have Kylian Mbappe, Lautaro Martinez and Salah there. The goals are all spread out between the entire team.
