Hmm, i've struggled with this tactic and i feel like i'm the only one.
Give us a clue, who are you playing as, expectations, results etc?

no way man excellent write up......and the sole reason the tactic was put up was to share and people to mess around and tweakAlright, below is my tweak on the current version of mlssmith's great tactic
Changes
* Removed the out of possession instruction "Get Stuck In"
* Removed all instances of the individual instruction "Tackle Harder"
* Set both central midfielders to Central Midfielder / Support - no individual instructions
* Set the MR to mirror the ML (##)

I use this for every match, home and away.
I could not get any of my players (I am playing as Leicester, currently first season of an eventual youth players only save - so no signings at all) to perform as the Box-to-Box. I tried out a vanilla Central Midfielder / Support and liked it. Tried both as Central Midfielder / Support and really liked it. They appeared to adapt to the game better. Ndidi in this role is a beast. I have seen him make 70 yard lung bursting runs to cover counter attacks and tackle in our penalty area.
(##) My current ML is Albrighton (right footed) and my current MR is Ghezzal (left footed), so the Wide Midfielder / Attack is working nicely. When I play a right footed MR (Gray on occassion) or a left footed ML (doesn't really happen), then I switch the role to Winger / Attack (no change in instructions)
The removal of Get Stuck In and Tackle Harder is purely personal preference and I have not noticed any negative issues. I want my team playing without this side of the game.
Not sure if just an oddity in my game, but Vardy has 25 goals in 27 games and ZERO assists...... So feel free to play a pure goalscorer there
Albrighton is playing awesome at ML and Maddison is a revelation at Shadow Striker. Chilwell and Pereira are custom made for the attacking full back roles.

This tactic was introduced after the Chelsea loss. Since then we have been going great. The 3-3 draw and Southampton loss (90th minute winner from a corner for them!) were both unfortunate and the only non wins in 13 games.
mlssmith - if you would rather I remove this, just let me know!
Mate he's not saying it's a bad tactic at all, just describing his experiences.
It helps if you read peoples posts before jumping to he wrong conclusion.
How do upload them brother?Your attachments don't work brother.
How do upload them brother?
this type of attacker gives me more goalsThank youl. Is there any reason why you changed the striker role? PF was working for me
yesUse it both at home and away?
