yay! feedback about the update!!!

Cheers mate glad its working well for you!

I havent tested it with a lower league team but I know of one who definatly is trying it...with Middlesbrough...no feedback yet though

Previous version definatley can work for Lower League teams with the right players

Im due some anual leave from work next week, if i get some time i'll test it with some lower league teams.

alright cheers mate, let me know how it goes for you

just found the quote from someone who used the original for altincham...."got atrincham who were originally in bsp and predicted to come 16th in league 2 promoted to league 1"

think they then got promoted to the Championship too after a year or two

I dont know why but im a bit apprehensive about using this tactic, tried so many here that just start off well but then stop working.

Would the tactic have success with Man utd?

Reall im looking for a tactic that will get my striker 40 goals or more in a season and like 105+ goals in the league...is this it?

last 4 season I have scored 130 plus with this tactic.

id suggest you try the original tactic to start with then maybe the update.

It should work really well for Man U. Id suggest using Hernandez as the right sided striker and Rooney as the left sided, but it may work either way. Id buy a new creative centre midfielder if you can for that slot in the lineup but apart from that I can see it working very well....but theres only one way to find out!!!

and the best i got from a striker was 71 in a season

sorry hate to be a pain, my winrar trial expired, what are the player roles??

For completion's sake, i'll run through this with my Palace team in Champ, then see what it can do in the prem... i'll keep you posted.

im testing this as blackpool, in pre season i went unbeaten. first game of the season lost 6-3 at home to liverpool. on another day the scoreline could have been much different got chelsea next will keep you posted. it looks good enough to keep me up. i think it will be.

well i hope so! cheers for trying it out!

the biggest problem i have occurred is in beating big teams ive played the so called top 5 (man utd, man city, chelsea, arsenal and liverpool twice and lost them all. i lied 13th in the league after 15 games and along came athetic bilbao and approached me, so i chose to leave. beat a lot of the teams around me quite comfortably but couldnt beat a big team for toffee the biggest team i beat was villa and they was below me, and i went 3-0 up and only won 4-3

hmm, well considering you were blackpool i think you did very well to be 13th. this tactic is quite attacking and maybe suseptable to big teams countering

Hi Harriers, I thought I would let you know how using your tactic went in my first season at Everton using the original tactic on 11.3. I have always been a 4-4-2 man as its a classic.
Just so 'people' don't think I cheated, the only players I bought where Lukaku(7m), Babacar(loan), Benzema(loan), Kadlec(1.6m) Maxwell(loan) and Witsel(1.5m). Sold a few players like Hibbert, Turner, Duffy etc to raise cash.
Anyway, the tactic..at the start of the season I was sitting in and around mid-table(4-5games in), then I changed the the match prep to attacking movement-high, the results where outstanding.
I went on 27 game unbeaten run, won the Prem on the last day but lost in the cups quarter-finals to Chelski and Man Ure. The way my team played was sensational, especially at home where results included a 4-0 win against Man Ure, 4-1 against **** and 2-0 against Liverpoo. my final goal tally in the Prem was 91 and 31 against. As soon as I can workout how to upload screenshots(proof) I will and post.
Thanks for truely top tactic, A* from me.

cheers for the update, glad it worked so well for you!!!

maybe attacking moement high is the way forward. i been tyring it with defense positioning high and it has been doing wonders in my last season - 141 for, 12 against and only lost one game (in all competitions) all season. but to do that with everton first season is awesome!! congrats!!

hope you go on to win the champs league next season and good luck!

testing the updated version with Solihull Moors ( i know, who the **** is that?) in the Blue Square North, drew my first game 1-1

nice one mate. i know solihul motors, ive played against their reserve team! lol

let me know how you get on

after a slow start, results have started picking up now that it's fluid in all areas

had a mix of wins and losses (mainly losses), but now we've got a nice little 6 game undefeated streak going which has seen me rise up to 11th (predicted 18th)

---------- Post added 02/06/2011 at 10:23 PM ---------- Previous post was 01/06/2011 at 05:34 PM ----------

finished my first season using this with Solihull Moors

Media Prediction: 18th
Finished: 7th (4 points off the play-offs)

brilliant tactic

i downloaded it. looked at it and everything seems like on default with no specific instructions. am i missing something? seems to me it is dependent on the poachers ability to run into the ball and score which i have nothing against since i use the same tactic with walcott.

some things are on defualt, dont think you can really say everything.

and those that are on default are on there because thats the best position on the slider for them. Its pointless agjesting things that i dont need to adjust, just the things that you do.

the tactic does rely on the poacher getting the goals, but you get so many goals from other places that he's not at all essential, my last two seasons top scorer was the other striker. Top league scorers from indirect freekicks. 21 goals from the midfield playmaker.

I see what ur saying about the poacher, but i think its a bit dramatic to say the whole tactic is dependant on him

cheers for trying any, who did you try it with?

my team scored 70 goals in the league and my striker got 23 of them
