Finally getting the grips of this tactic. As long as I don't use the away tactic I'm good. One probably I am having is if one of my players gets send off the whole team just becomes a mess. Which player do I take off when someone gets sent off?

Been tweaking the home tactic here and there to make it feel a bit more stable for away games. Counter is defo the way to go, but I've also been playing around with the settings of the full backs, the two cms and the two strikers! I'll release if i stumble onto anything which improves the tactic significantly!

For the meantime here are some squad stats (Only players i brought in were Rojo, Eriksen and Casilla, Vietto and Zivkovic on loan):

DLF for me mate thrn move the AF into the middle!
 
Reet...a couple of SS and a couple of examples with the HOME tactic on COUNTER mentality:

First match...as soon as the red card happened (On 52 mins) i made the change I mentioned in post #84 andchanged to COUNTER mentality:

Well so far the most stable away version is using Home on counter! Further to that I've tried using the wingers on support and playing around with the role of what would be the DLP, its hard to tell what works or not when you are barca though tbh because the individual skill of the players carries me through games despite what tactic I use.

Also, good to see you have moved club again, did you managed to win everything with your previous?

Ha,mover & a shaker me mate...if I'm honest I left Stuttgart for inter coz I get bored so so easily!at Inter I got ****** as they had £80m in the bank but only gave me £10m to spend & the wage budget was tight to I threw my toys out of the pram & resigned! I took the Southampton job wen they were 19th...I'm now 12th...Defo the biggest test for the tactic so far but it seems to be doing the business using home at home & home on counter away! Cheers for the tip bud!
 
You have totaly six tactics in your OP but iam confused to wich one of this three tactics is good to use?

This is the BEST TACTIC i ever played with =)

So, I finished my season with Barcelona. I won the league, cup and Champions league (beat my old United team 4-1 which was the cherry on top of a great season!). Pretty much smashed everyone I came up against, and finished with a 36-1-1 record in the league!Messi, Vietto, Suarez and Deulofeu were my best players, picking up all the goals, assists and awards between them! I was going to stay at Barca for another season, even though they are offering me a considerably tiny transfer budget despite their bank balance and my success this season, however Mourinho just got sacked from Chelsea so it looks like an early return to the premiership for me. Much prefer this club hopping type of game as it keeps me interested in the long run, once I've won everything possible at a club. Absolutely fantastic tactic-especially the home version and I'm looking forward to my next season, hopefully at Chelsea, with it! Let me know if anyone wants screenshots- at work atm!
 
I'm a sucker for a good old fashioned 4-4-2. I think I will create a new save with my home club Barnet and give this a go!
 
Is this tactic suitable for LLM? When I say LLM, I mean as far down as regional leagues...

I added my own set pieces and made changes to the away tactic to make it a bit more solid defensively.

I've also had a ridiculous amount of injuries. I still have 5 first team players out.

Great results so far!

Are you using short corners? And can you advise which changes you made to the defensive tactic? :)

Will do when I get home! You do score a fair few from corners but tbh I don't mind scoring 2 corners a game as long as I get 2 goals from open play a game too! Whenever my strikers have scored its been from open play and they got about 150 goals between them in all comps. Your wingers and cms probably get the most corner goals and I think collectively they didn't score more than 50 or so goals

Yes I am using short corners.

I'm using a copy of the home tactic in away games with a few altercations. Full backs are set to 'support' and 'sit narrower' is selected. Wingers are also set to 'support'. Mentality is set to 'control' and structure is 'flexible'.
