Spanish newspaper Marca have listed their five candidates to take over Real Madrid in the summer.

Current coach Manuel Pellegrini, who has spent a huge amount of money, has seen Real knocked out of the Champions League, quite possibly out of the title race in Spain, after the 2-0 home defeat to Barcelona on Saturday.

The five names linked are England boss Fabio Capello, Inter's Jose Mourinho, Liverpool's Rafa benitez, former Chelsea head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, and current Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

**** madrid.

the most over press reletated club in the world. doesnt matter who gets the job, they will be gone within 12 months. its a club that think it deserves to win everything what ever, **** erm

Rafa Benitez XD
Hopefully not Fabio, he won't concentrate fully on England then :(

Take any of them, except Capello.

Take him and I'll chop your fookin' balls off.

I honestly see Rafa Benitez taking it, he loves Real Madrid, and the fans love him aswell. Makes sense, but this is Real Madrid........

I think they'll get Mourinho, and then when he gets bored in a few years he will come back to England probably to replace Fergie.

I don't think that it is Pellegrini who has spent the money, I don't think he had a say at who arrived

they love rafa now untill next season when he losses a game and they're hate him ever more

as i said before, if they get Rafa they'll get 'Nando too. it's looking more and more likely.

if real madrid get mourinho they will dominate the world for years to come

They won't get Fernando Torres. They wouldn't bid for him because he's Athletico and he's said that he wouldn't join any Spanish team other than Athletico Madrid. If they did sign him somehow, the fans would always hate him.

throw a random name out of the bag... Alan Smith.

Liverpool need to sell, Torres wants trophies, Benitez would want him at Real if he left Liverpool. It's a no-brainer really.

If Torres gets the right cash, he would move to Real, and if he does a job at Real, the fans will love him. Remember Luis Figo, joined Real from Barcelona. The fans were disgusted at it, but he produced, and he is a Real legend.

Nah Torres really won't go to (Real) Madrid. There is a far greater chance of going to Barca, Inter or even Chelsea. He has a real hatred for Real. I reckon Scolari will join them or maybe Ancelotti if he doesn't win the league with Chelsea.

Figo went to Madrid, but he wasn't Barcelona through and through. He just played for them, like Ronaldo (Brazilian). Figo always said he'd never play for Benfica as he was a Sporting fan, and he never did.

I agree, if he did go to Spain it would probably be to Barcelona or even back to Athletico if they could afford it.

Torres, Aguero and Forlan up front

Real Madrid are such a bizarre club that seem to operate truly out of the realms of reality, someone should tell Perez about football manager 2010 so he can go bezerk on that and give Madrid a sporting chance of truly competing with the current Barca team.

What are the odds on Wenger joining them? That would be interesting

YOu are quite correct they just gave him the players he didnt request any of the players, and the players they sold he ask to keep all of them except Huntelaar. in my opinion they have to keep pelegrini if they want success

torres wont go to real madrid, and capello wont go back either. anyway they are joke, they wonder why they struggle to win trophies...stop sacking your manager after a year you fools. they really **** me off

Real are signing the players based on their reputation, rather than the players that will do a job week in week out. And Torres doesnt look like winning a trophy at Liverpool, so it may be a case of the highest bidder signs......

Capello won the league 2 or 3 years ago, and was still sacked. It proves that no matter who you are, if you manage Real, you could be out if you win trophies or not.
