in my opinion, that one is more than enough for casual web use and FM. Unless you want to run the 3d match engine in high detail you shouldn't have any problems.

no all i want is for the game to run at a good decent speed, not bothered about the 3d match engine at all. I like to run a few leagues from different countries and if it should do that then i'm happy

that laptop will be able to do that easily and quickly :)

That should do OK - but it could be better. What brand is it? How much are you willing to pay?

I get a discount through HP and looking to pay about £500
My main concern is the AMD processor. You can't get one with an Intel processor? AMD are bit behind the eight ball in that department. The graphics card in that will run FM11 fine though.

Intel's overpriced anyway. If you want "bang for your buck," AMD all the way.

Not in a laptop. Unless the bang is an explosion. :p

I'm all for AMD desktop CPUs, but they are not so good on the mobile front.

Ah, gotcha. I just keep having knee-jerk reactions when people talk about Intel.

:p

FYI I have an AMD card myself (4890).

And an INTEL CPU.

Oh. Sorry. Did your leg just come off? :p

:(

Currently on an Intel actually, as it's not my own. But I'm looking at building my own PC, and the price difference is... noticeable;)
