A.M.C - a 4-2-3-1 tactic by Kallemannen

July_AttMid_main.jpg

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have always been a fan of attacking midfielders, especially since that where I played myself during my active years before I got injured.
The problem this year has been getting the narrow 4-2-3-1 into a working system.
Its been really difficult getting something out of the AMCs on the wings, when using 3 of them. Its just difficult to replicate them into performing like wingers.
Instead the answer is in having complete wingbacks storming the wings.

The Tactic:

as you can see we got 3 playmakers which is pretty cool! I dont know if this is in the tactic, but you can also make them swap between each other, and even swap with the striker, this could make the tactic better.

Info/how to use

Very difficult match: def positioning. Easy match: attacking movement

In preseason I like to train 2 weeks condition then usually team cohesion, match prep tactics. During season Balanced Average, bar in the middle.

In game usage:

You have to "fight" a little with the tactic, not just sit back. It can sometimes get a little stuck in attack. use shouts like "get creative", "demand more", or even use another tactic when getting stuck, perhaps with 2 strikers.

if you got slow defenders/play a longballing team. Well, I didnt find a need for this, but you can then press "lower defence line" instead of higher, to protect yourself from longballs.

I will also add a 4-2-3-1 wide counter tactic made by me here, to protect a lead or to play some nice counter football.

IMPORTANT: Train a player to posess "long flat throw in". LB takes corner on left side, RB takes corner on right side

OI

Use these OI´s, and here is something intresting.
is the tactic better with OI´s? I think, yes, but it has also performed some games better without them in some tests I made.

For example I plugged the tactic with wolfsburg with no OIs, and won 6-1 absolut domination.

feel free to try with our without OI´s, but posted test have been made with OIs.

Some final words:

This is the V1 version so this tactic should be improved further!
The first thing is the middle playmaker on support, ive experimented with that role but have not find someone to perform exactly like I want there.

And the tactic can get a bit "sluggish" in attack sometimes, with little creativity.

So please let me know your results! With an without OI´s

Cheers

The 2 biggest amc talents in one picture. a bit gay maybe but u know, its an AMC tactic so had to have them there

yildirim was world's best free kick taker a few years ago. never had a great career tho ;)

But with hakan its different.. he is actually a very big talent aside from his free kicks

yeah i know, although i doubt he is "one of the biggest talents in football". could become a class player for sure tho.

Have you played a full season yet even?

No I will probably when I have time, managed to do a half a season with Napoli
Qutting that save now you can see why when you look in the screens ;) Higuian injured several months, insigne 2 months, all in one match

But this obviously worked with napoli now the intresting thing is to see how it does with other teams in other leagues
I noticed it can struggle against 4-2-3-1 I think and u dont see a lot of that in italy

How are you fairing with the tactic ladies.. erm lads

anyone played it in BPL yet?

7-0 :D haha
Pablo Zabaleta, 4.0 rating lol

Looks nice dude.. you still think DM is better than CM?

don't know yet, I will taste the best options will leave, the fact that the corners free kicks and throw-ins weren't configured all the standard I think they would get more

alright, got good set piece tactics as well?
I never do set pieces for my tactics

otherwise killerbee Hitman has a nice corner tactic
