kallemannen i think it would work with similar players instrucion as the Artisan 4-2-2-2 for the AMC's and the DM's with his style of play but tweaking a little, im using his team instructions with other tactics like 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 taking off playing trow the middle and little stuff more, if i have time i will try what i exposed to you with your tactic, my best regards!

I think CMs rather than DMs are the better option
one on support one on defend.
For the 3 amcs, i dont know.. i didnt find any good combination its so difficult

But possibly attack role for striker
