Striker, wingers and even CMs can be suitable in the AP role
look at their stats not only the position :)

Try to find a club, with suitable Advanced playmakers, even though they are CM, wingers or ST and retrain the to AMC to start with

good luck and let me know how it goes!

I dont know sorry I dont play FM since several months
Still work some on tactics when I have time, but I mostly read and discuss on FM forums :) for some reason.. :D

Well I did a save with dortmund, think I had Hakan Calhanoglu, götze, Adnan januzaj, kingsley coman etc.
But yeah all expensive players

Maybe u can get martin ödegård on loan
ALso, dusan Tadic is a perfect example of winger who is great at AMC

as for cheap wonderkids, google! I remember on fm14 there were lots of articles on this

Yeah done some retraining to fit players to tactics, based on stats, just gotta decide on club, too much to choose from xD

I'll let ya know, when i find the club i want :)

A AMC i might take a look on is: Lucas Correa 30 yo Free Agent, Argentinian/Spanish nationality - he ain't for a top club, but he has done well for me in smaller clubs :)

I always delete saves but i can make a new save with Napoli and play some
games if u want

In going to make some New test saves so ill include Napoli.
and make a new test for you
 
Working on a new one
The trouble with the previous is those OIs and they can really make a tactic inconsistent with certain teams

My current wont have OI, just anti cross since its narrow

Working really well with southhampton at the minute
Not conceding a goal
and still threatening on front foot

Could maybe cut off a bit defence for more attack
also this tactic really needs "drop mode" against long ballers

messileo twich at attack set piaces maybe will make ur tactic more succesfull :D if u can match them i ll hope they ll be good
 
I use killerbee 15.3 hitman set pieces in this tactic
i will of course credit him if I release this tactic

But yeah, good set piece + long thrower gives u those extra wins to make a tactic "game breaking"
 
So I've got a few games played with my Middlesbrough setup, havn't been overperforming so far, but with quite some matches close together and a few injuries I won't say it's the tactic failing. Also retraining players to fit the tactic which just got fluid after my last match. Only thing is I get a good amount of shots on goal, but scoring goals isn't great atm.

try another tactic! this one didnt work so well
The counter should be in another thread, kallemannen & christian eriksen 4-2-3-1

I just couldnt get 4-2-3-1 amc right
Instead I now use wide players
 
Looked promising at first but doesn't do well when you are the underdog, I think it needs some balance tweaks because it is so vulnerable to counter attacks, every time the opposition hoofs it clear they have 4 on 2 situations.
 
yep i didnt test this tactic enough..
it only worked well half a season with napoli. but it worked so well i just posted it
but its too unbalanced

kallemannen i think it would work with similar players instrucion as the Artisan 4-2-2-2 for the AMC's and the DM's with his style of play but tweaking a little, im using his team instructions with other tactics like 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 taking off playing trow the middle and little stuff more, if i have time i will try what i exposed to you with your tactic, my best regards!
